I want to get my husband a silver becher that has glass inside. I've asked Eichlers but they only have silver plated ones. Who in NY/NJ does this?

You mean so a glass cup sits inside the silver cup? Not sure I've seen that. What is the advantage of this? Still have something to wash.

He is very into his wine and once mentioned that he cannot tell the quality of the wine because the cup is silver.

Got ya. My husband switches to a regular wine glass right after making kiddish for that reason. I didn't know to look into something like this for him. I guess I'll ask him if he'd like that -- if you find out who sells it.

Silver is expensive. You might be able to custom make it. Try hatzorfim.

This is true. But make sure before you spend the money it’s something he wants. I understood part of the chashivus is drinking the wine from silver. Like it’s better to light the menorah in silver.
Or I’ve seen really nice glass bechors with no silver. But the glass is the focal point.

I bought my husband one for the same reason. I bought it in elite, and it was 750. He loves it!
