Breaded cauliflower

Has anyone been able to copy to some extent the bgan breaded cauliflower? It’s so expensive and I imagine it shouldn’t be too hard to make on my own

It’s been some time since but I’d say they were much better! I blanched the florets first. Then dipped in flour eggs n spiced crumbs then eggs n crumbs again. Deep fry. I loved them especially since they were bigger pieces and actually a great vegetable side!

(I used frozen cauliflower. First try I didn’t cook just breaded and fried. They were rawish inside and not soft as I like. The next time around I blanched first and it was perfect. Make sure to not overcook. It becomes mushy inside and hard to work with.)

Healthy (Mock) Breaded Cauliflower

Ingredients
24 oz bag frozen cauliflower florets, defrosted (I like to use mini florets)
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt
¼-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
⅓ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
1 egg
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the cauliflower, oil and spices to combine. Add bread crumbs and toss until completely combined. Add egg and stir well to evenly distribute the egg. The entire mixture should be sticky at this point.
Pour mixture onto lined cookie sheet, and spread into a single layer. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until slightly crispy. Stir approximately every 10 minutes to make sure it doesn't stick.
