Hi!
Many times I see summer tops that would look so great with a white / off white skirt.
how socially appropriate is white skirt, and more importantly how modern is it? (and where can I get it)
I know that some people wear it, just wanna hear your opinions, also if white is not an option , then what skirt would you recommend for such a top? denim,black and navy won't do!(or will it?)

White skirts are actually really trendy right now! Black and navy tops with white pencil skirts or white midi a-line are trending. Also white skinny pleats for Shabbos or a more dressy look. All the frum stores are carrying them. Check frum store websites if you don't have access to stores.....

I have a white a-line skirt that is a wardrobe staple for me. I wear it with various tops - a blue/white paisly, a grey and white assymetrical top....the skirt is called a bling skirt, it's made of a slightly stretchy fabric and is very comfortable.

Are chassidish,(fashionable) ladies in BP wearing them? LOL... this may sound lame but im chassidish, with my own style, (I do my nails-pink only -obvs!- ) while trying to fit into the community I grew up in and love. I would hate getting looks.
Also, what online stores would you recommend?

Yes, chassidish women everywhere are wearing white skirts. I never thought it to be an issue.

I guess you're careful,and yeah it probably gets dirty... and if it's real bad then you change...my son is wearing white shorts come summer,ill have to spray and wash a lot more than in winter...

Remember white can be bleached, so it's actually the most practical clothing color! If we let our 8 year old sons wear white Shabbos shirts, why can't we wear white skirts? You can bleach out the stains.
