Does anyone have a recipe that is similar to the Siegelman's caramel nut log? I live far away from NY so I can't buy it but would love to make it myself.

Nah that recipe doesn't taste close to the real thing. Haven't seen the recipe at all. Still waiting for a real baking guru to crack the recipe!

LOL...says Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A

no wonder...the recipe calls for 18 sticks of margarine and and 31 eggs (so that's 6 sticks and 10 eggs per cake if you make 3)! Crazy. But it does look like an amazing recipe for someone willing to patchka.

A sliver of a slice at a kiddush a couple of times a year is enough for me! LOL

It's not to my taste at all (and I LOVE cake), but most everyone else seems to loveit as There is rarely any left at any simcha ive seen them at.
