I won't bash anyone because they want to wear longer skirts. I don't think clothing defines a person.
But I also don't think I have to defend myself for wearing shorter skirts because it's truly noones business, it's between me and hashem. He's the only one I have to defend my "halacha" breaking from.

OP, and anyone else interested in tznius, female Instagram role models, would you be open to PMing me? I've been thinking about something on this topic for a while. Or you can IG message me @chaya_braun_photography or anonymously email me through my website.

I agree that it isn't anyone's business how long your skirts are, anymore than it isn't anyone's business if you keep all of Hilchos Shabbos correctly.
However, clothing is an outward showing that we must wear. Being naked is not an option. What we wear is a statement to the public, whether we like it or not.
Should your wardrobe statement be subject to judgement? Not in the negative sense.
Yet, it's almost impossible to notice clothing and not 'categorize and judge' - that is fashionable, that is ugly, that's what my grandmother wore, that's not fitting in the rules of tznius that I learned, that outfit is gorgeous- where did you buy it?
