Am I really supposed to be honest when I fill out the homework/bedtime chart?
Part of signing my son's homework is filling in whether or not he went to bed nicely. I normally make a check or on good days a check plus, yesterday was one of those crazy nights and I filled in a sad face instead.
But I've been thinking all morning, shouldn't school be a second chance for a child to behave? What's the point in his Rebbi knowing that he didn't behave?

Sometimes I don't fill it out!
It's only a tool to motivate children to go to bed on time or to let rebbi know that your child went to sleep late! He can then see if your child's behavior is different because he's tired.

The homework chart I write honestly. Dd's teacher said that you don't must fill out the bedtime chart. At a certain point she stopped it all together, I guess she realized there's no point.
