I put my milchig toaster oven on a shabbos clock and have it on for 4 hours to warm up the food.

Does it work with a digital oven? Even if goes on, it won't go on the setting to bake. I have a convection toaster oven.

I admit I’m totally paranoid.

I wanted to use sternums one year and saw it says on it may cause birth defects

How do you figure that?!

State of California what? I'm sorry, I didn't follow that...

But California also says that coffee is carcinogenic.

The gel from the sterno is meth. It says on the warning that meth may cause birth defects. I assume they're writing it for legal purposes, it's such a tiny amount of meth it can't be harmful.

Ask ur LOR but I take out my food to give my children or hungry husband something to eat late shabbos afternoon. Then leave it on the counter instead of putting it away. I also heard if food is tied together in a bag before shabbos and u want one thing in the bag or if u stack pans and u want to take the bottom one out u can take it all out to and just leave them on then counter... definitely easier to warm food that's room temp... pls ask ur own LOR.

You don’t have to put out the fire? It goes out by itself?

Sure. By the end of the meal, they're out. They last about 2 hours.

My George Foreman grill has a label with tiny words stating that according to the state of California this may cause birth defects.... I noticed it once when pregnant (after using it for many years and bH a few healthy children).
