I also found a tick on my son’s groin while giving him a bath, at abt 7 yrs old. At first I thought it was a scab but then I saw some legs and upon closer look saw that it was a tick. It’s very important to check the whole body. An idea to try to prevent ticks from crawling up their legs is to tell your boys to tuck their pants into their socks before going near woody areas.
