Toddlers should eat every 2 to 3 hours alternating meals and snacks, with healthy foods from a variety of food groups, such as healthy fats, whole grain carbs, fruits, vegies, protein, dairy.

Breakfast
snack
lunch
snack
dinner
(optional snack)

Sounds like you are doing fine with regard to the actual types of foods, just how does your child not get hungry if only eating every 5 hours??

He nurses tons. I really want to replace it with snacks, but it's hard for me to switch my mindset.
