does anyone know anything about medical insurance while traveling. I am traveling out of town for shavous and would like some sort of plan...

If you live in and are insured in the US and will be traveling within the country, check with your insurance carrier for participating hospitals and providers at your destination.
If you are traveling to another country, consider purchasing travel insurance that includes emergency medical coverage.

Assuming you are in the US and traveling to a different state, health plans will cover you for emergency medical care.
You wouldn’t be covered for non emergency care or more accurately it would be treated as going to an out of network medical provider and you would pay and then insurance woild reimburse you whatever is revised for in your plan.
