We had pulled beef nachos for the first lunch. Kids loved it and it was really nice to have a less heavy option.

Second lunch was a make your own grain bowl buffet. I made some fresh rice and mixed it with left over quinoa. Heated up leftover beef, chicken veggies and everyone served them self.

I make the same recipes every shavuos and these reappear every year.

Penne a la vodka from kosher pallette. (very easy recipe)
mac and cheese from spice and spirit.
Plain cooked pasta with ketchup was a hit with some of the younger guests!
Plain cheese quiche from spice and spirit.
I also made lasagna which was good. (just tomato sauce and chedder cheese and noodles)
Poached salmon - cooked right before meal so it was fresh. 5 minutes in boiling water. Thats it. Serve with sauce like dill or pesto or even plain mayo.
onion soup from Jaime Geller.

I also got tons of compliments on some baked salmon sides - just threw in oven with salt and pepper and lemon juice f0r 20 mins on 200c.

4ish/5ish hours. Once it was cool enough to handle, I shredded it. It was addictive!

4 - 5 hours in the crockpot, that's on high right?

Lol I make mine with Diet Coke all the time and it’s fine. I’m not a big fan of the chemical/ fake stuff but I have ppl who watch their sugar...
