I'm trying to rework my Shabbos menu.
I find the dips hardly get touched, and a number of people don't like fish.
So I was considering a fruit cup for the first course.... but then I can't think what else would be on the table to kind of draw out that course - it seems it would be over very quickly - no salads to nibble on etc.
Anything I'm missing? Or is that how it goes - it's pretty, refreshing, mostly enjoyed, but can't really be accompanied with any other food....?
