So we're finally getting out on a much-overdue date night. We'll have dinner locally (not sure where yet) but I'm looking for a fun activity that's nearby (we have limited time) and not your typical pottery painting type of thing. Any hidden-gem destinations? We've done the Silverball arcade (so much fun!) and the glass-blowing place, now looking for something else interesting. Any ideas would be much appreciated!!

Axe throwing?

My husband keeps saying he wants to do it. Seems to be a popular activity....

Thanks! DH has a gun and goes shooting all the time, and it's not really my cup of tea, so I think we'll skip that (axe throwing just sounds like a boys' night kinda thing lol). Not interested in AC, we've been. I've done escape rooms but would totally do one again, is there a good one nearby?

Atlantic City. Or so I assumed. Maybe we'll just go to Seaside Heights or Point Pleasant, that's always fun.

There's an escape room in Lakewood on Route 70. (I never went, but maybe someone else could say how it was). There are other ones in close-by towns.
