Silly question: the Bais Yaakov Cookbook recipe for mocha cake, which I am trying because everyone here raves about it, calls for 1/4 cup instant coffee. Does that mean 1/4 cup prepared instant coffee (which seems like not very much at all) or 1/4 instant coffee granules (which seems like a lot but I'm not complaining). I'm going to assume it means the granules because it makes more sense for the glaze portion of the recipe, too, but I figured I'd ask first. Thanks!

Pretty sure it means granules dissolve in a drop of hot water

1/4 cup granules of instant coffee dissolved in 3/4 cups water.
It’s teally not that much coffee. Just 4x normal serving.
