I know family from Cleveland who is moving to Lakewood because here the schools no longer allow unvaccinated children. I am a little shocked that with all the difficulties I hear of people getting into school in Lakewood they would take people coming from oot who r not vaccinated . Curious area there no measles cases in Lakewood?

All I can say is, I sure hope that family doesn't send their kids to my kid's schools.

I had a child with compromised immunity - how is it fair that a child with a medical condition that is not his fault has to be kept indoors and isolated due to a behavior that is a choice?

Lakewood has had a massive outbreak and it wouldn't be fair for ant-vaxxers to move here and add to it.

There are schools. But you won’t have any pick. As hard as it is to get in normally it will be even harder.
A child in my sons class was not allowed back in during the year and I know they did get into another school after some time home.

Two of my dd's, one in elementary and one in high school, each had unvaccinated classmates who were out for a few months during the winter because of the outbreak. Once it died down they were allowed to come back. I know there were many schools who didn't allow unvaccinated kids for a while. It's possible there are some who don't care.

Depends on the school. The state allows for religious exemptions but many of the schools don't accept them.
