Is it worth the day to go there? How are the prices compared to shopping in New York?

You should add England to your title.

I haven't been there in quite a few years because I didn't find it that worthwhile.

It can't be compared to outlet malls in NY. It's way more expensive. To me it seems pathetic to spend so much on clothes from, earliest, last season, just because its a brand name. It has to be either current season or really cheap to be worthwhile.

It’s overpriced. Not worth it I’m my opinion though the train ride is very nice.

With a name like that, wasn't it obvious? Wink

No comparison to USA outlets.

Expensive compared to USA prices.

OKish prices for UK but only if you're lucky!

Not really worth it imho..

Thank you for your opinions. We will skip it. Any ideas for nice day trips out of London for the day?

What are your interests?

Shopping/Museums/Art/Theme parks/Nature/History/Royals etc?

Will you have a car?

Were you thinking of combining a trip to Oxford and bicester village?

Warwick castle as someone mentioned above is a nice day out and u can get 2 for 1 vouchers usually quite easily. It is about 2 hrs drive away from London.

Cambridge is nice and you can do their boating there.

Or Windsor you can take a boat down the Thames and visit Windsor Castle.

(Both are different types of boats)

You probably need to first take the tube(underground) then a train which will be a direct train to Virginia waters and Marlow on Thames.
I can probably give you more details if you tell me where you will be staying.

Regarding shopping there are loads of options. One or two options are Westfield shopping centre, Brent cross shopping centre, oxford street. Lakeside shopping centre has cheaper shops then the others but it takes over an hour to get there from london.

Brent X is in the Jewish area and has a Kosher restaurant. Sadly the one Kosher restaurant in Westfield closed down.

Brent x is much smaller, westfield has far more shops. There's also the harlequin and oxford street for shopping.
