We don't have a working AC and my 15 month old has a 101.6 fever. He's acting pretty normal but he's not sweating so I think it's actually a fever, not just overheating. He's basically drinking constantly all day so he isn't dehydrated, could the fever be just because of the heat? I really can't deal with yet another virus

Temperature of OVER 100F from the heat? I really dont think so. We dont have ac and we had a heat wave a few weeks ago. Nobody had fever that high.
The outside heat is not going to heat up your internal body temperature.

Poor little guy!

Let him play with a wet towel or washcloth. It will cool him down quite a bit. Even more so if you sit him in front of a fan at the same time.

If he gets lethargic, glassy eyed, or doesn't seem very interested in things going on around him, give him some Tylenol. If that doesn't work, get him to the ER as soon as possible.

He's acting totally normal which is why I'm surprised he's sick. Well not actually surprised, it'll be his 16th virus in the last 6 months (literally, he catches everything).
