My 8.5 year old is very chubby. I Have a very hard time finding her clothes. Especially something like uniforms or Shabbos outfits. She feels terrible when I take her shopping, because nothing fits, and in these frum stores- sometimes the salesladys are so rude and blunt "this won't fit" or if I go with my two daughters "this is not for the chubby one."
Where in the Brooklyn area can I go for plus size girls Shabbos clothing? And if u know of a good uniform place, that would be great too!

sorry that no one had information for you
and even more sorry that your little girl; now 13 had to go through that.
I was that chubby little girl all my life so I know how that feels.
wondering if you found a good store.
I'm looking for long straight T shirt material skirts for a chubby ten year old;
I guess she needs a size 16 or large elastic waist.
I don't want to spend so much on summer skirts and Ts.
any ideas?

I think in any store, you just need to size up & look for the loose fitting styles which such dresses are in style anyway now

Amazon, Walmart, Macy's.
There is one store on 13th Ave and 47 or 48th St that has lots of plus sizes.
Otherwise, online shopping works for us.
Although this thread is 5 years old, the issue is a real one for many of us today too.
