I'm relatively thin (size xs/s) and in my lower 30's. However I was watching a video of myself yesterday and noticed a very pronounced double chin. What can I do to get rid of it?

I've heard of treatments that melt the fat permanently. IF anyone knows of a place in Flatbush or Lakewood, please post. I'm so self-conscious about it!

There are simple exercises that after a while, if done daily can literally make it vanish.

I went to a few plastic surgeons for consults.
I was most impressed and assured by dr Cha in Brooklyn who actually came recommended here on IMA.
But he only takes cash and it was expensive so I never got around to it yet

Sounds like CoolSculpting makes sense for you.

It's genetic. There's a relatively new cosmetic medical injection called Kybella.

Yup, definitely genetic. Do you know who does this kybella? I read about it on another thread but would only go to a place that was recommended to me.

Have you had your thyroid checked?

Are you looking at yourself from a low angle? Looking down at a mirror? Because in that case, almost everyone has one!

Pretend there's a tennis ball under your chin, and stick your chin out and a bit down. Double chin is gone!

A double chin can actually be a goiter which is a sign of a thyroid problem. A thin person doesn’t usually have a double chin unless family also has.
