But I don't think Salk and Sabin had autism. Certainly, Plotkin doesn't seem to have it. (I've been watching parts of the 9-hour deposition video, and so far, no signs of anything. Dr. Plotkin is amazingly wise, patient, calm, and for the most part savvy about interacting with others.)

I think high-functioning people with autism are more likely to be engineers than MDs.
