Right, but this summer there is no option for the 14-15 year old age group to be on both the YC and work at a day camp.
You only get paid for attending the education program.
1. Most if not all Brooklyn day camps do not want to compensate the teens, so they specificially recruit girls who are on YC.
2. The teens on YC must attend the education workshops or whatever it's called for 3 hours per weekday morning, and go on SYEP sponsored trips.
Day camps run from 9-4 so these hours conflict with the program hours.
