My 13 yr old dd’s birthday is coming up and I could use some great suggestions of what to buy her and how to celebrate. Thanx so much!!

I stopped trying to guess what presents my children want and just listen closely when they talk about all the things they want and then I write it down somewhere. I do this from a few months before their birthday. This year my dd14 wanted a digital camera, a new watch, headphones, earrings, a new backpack for camp etc. So some of these things became birthday presents from us, her older siblings and her grandparents. So even though they weren't a complete surprise, they were exactly what she wanted.
Same with the cake, she's obsessed with anything peanut butter related, so I had a recipe I came across months ago and made that and it was a big hit.
