Does anyone have any experience with Ohr Dovid Beacon School in Brooklyn. Feedback would be appreciated about the environment and academics.

I haven't had any recent interaction with them, but a number of years ago I had a student who mainstreamed from there and he was very well prepared.

I taught there quite a few years ago and the administration and teachers were superb! They really worked with each child to reach their potential!

They do not have a hs. I have a son there and am extremely happy.

Do they have technology in this school- Computer lab, iPads, computers, smart boards, chrome books, etc? I can’t find a website for them. Also, where do graduates usually end up going for high school?

I dont think they have smart boards etc but my son does some learning on a computer every day.
I am very happy with the school and you can pm me with any questions if you are looking into it

Following because my son is there …
I know that they work with each student individually. Some boys go to a mainstream school and others go to Sharei Arazim, IVDU etc …

Following as well. My son is there and I'm beginning to think of the next step... no idea where he can go from there. I know some boys continue on to Doresh but that's NOT an option for us. I'd love to know if they can wing it in shaarei afirim or shaarei arazim, as I've heard such wonderful things about those places.

If your child has HFA check out the new branch of Hadran yeshiva for English speaking boys. They have an established school in boro park and they have a full website so you can see what their all about.
