I have an Israeli nephew to whom I sometimes need to send money from the U.S. Until now, we have relied on sending it with people who happen to be going, but that has gotten increasingly hard to do. I went to my bank today, thinking that this would be as simple as setting up a joint bank account where I put $ here and he takes it out in Israel. But my bank (Chase) said it can't do that without him being in the U.S. to set the account up. Does anyone send money to someone in Israel regularly? How do you do it?

Does he have an American bank account in his name?
If he does, you can make deposits into it.
Paypal and Zelle are both good if he has them.
If he gets a Capital One 360 account (he can sign up online), he can withdraw the money in Israel for free.
If it's large amounts, you can send with Access Credit and they will deposit it into his Israeli bank account. http://accesscredit.co.il/
