Someone gave me a $25 gift card to Whole Foods. I am going to have to send dh there to use it because we don't live near one and I can't drive. So I want to decide in advance what to buy. Anything special there that I should get? Thanks.

Believe it or not (at least at the one near me) they have Kedem Grape Juice and lots of Kedem products but they're disguised cleverly as organic stuff for the masses, like Harrison's Sweet Shoppe

Most items are overpriced. If you like organic products, they have their own line that is pretty reasonably priced and often kosher. Otherwise stick to sale items.

Op here, I know they're overpriced, that's another reason I don't shop there Smile but I have the gift card, might as well use it, even if it only covers a couple of items.

I would probably splurge on a natural bath or skincare product.

Or maybe stock up on raw nuts.

I shop there weekly. Mine has lots of bread options (some that are pas yisroel). I appreciate being able to buy bread without gross ingredients.

I buy veggie broth when it's on sale, lentils, beans, brown rice, wild rice, and veggies there. Expeller-expressed oil. Toasted sesame seeds from the Asian section. Miso from the refrigerated section. I tend to buy kale/bok choy/spinach/swiss chard there as they're fresher than in my other local stores (better turnover). Coconut milk. Tortillas. They have imitation Triscuits that are much healthier than the regular kind...I give them to my kids with peanut butter.

Get something you would never buy otherwise! Maybe like a fresh basil/oregano/mint/thyme....plant to use for cooking? They last a long time, and they add so much to food!

I looked for Non dairy ice cream options, everything was "DE".

Cashew cheese sounds good.

Their 365 brands are comparable to grocery brands if not cheaper so you can stock up on basics if you want to be frugal.

If you want to indulge, their produce is very nice especially since some of the summer fruits are becoming available like cherries. I love Rainier cherries which I saw for the first time this week.

I like getting the fruits and veggies when I go (not often at all). Sometimes they have good deals on blueberries, avacados etc.
