My teen daughters need sneakers,which ones are the latest for this summer?

The girls are wearing sock sneakers now. I've also seen addidas lace ups abd the regular slip on sneakers. Check out amazon or the department stores.

Does it depend on the age or community? DD is wearing high tops and so are her friends.
