I will be in Teaneck for 2 days. Any idea where to go in or around that area? Kids are DS13 and DD18. I'm totally clueless..

What kind of ideas are you looking for?
What do you usually like to do as a family?
There is glass fusion/pottery paintings,
Bowling, archery, malls, bounce, mini golf, parks, more malls, and lots of food.
Give me some idea and I can make some recommendations.

Preferably something free or cheap. Is there any scenic bike trail in the area?

Tenafly nature center is large.
Creek is small.
Overpeck I know nothing about, but they have a website.

We are not nature people so I can't speak from much experience

Palisades interstate park. Lots of walking/hiking trails and a good path for biking also. Gorgeous views over the Hudson. https://www.njpalisades.org

If it's not too hot, I'd highly recommend the Giant Stairs hike along the Palisades. You start at the top of the cliffs, hike down to the Hudson, go along the Hudson for a mile or so, then hike back up to the top. It's a wonderful workout if you're in good shape and like hiking, and it's totally free.

Overpeck park has a nice paved trail by the water for walking/jogging. Not long enough for significant biking. You can also rent paddle boats and kayaks there. Look online for hours. Palisades interstate is also very nice--woodsy trails and views of the Hudson.
