I'm sending my 2-year-old to a playgroup/day camp in the summer. I had ordered a bag for him, but I realized it's too small.

Any recommendations for a knapsack or bag for him? It would need to fit his bathing suit, towel, and water shoes, and possibly a change of clothing, as well.

Thanks!

I like this one because it doubles as a leash as well which is great for summers especially.

Is that big enough to hold the towel, suit, and shoes? It looks small.

These are good size. They come in a fee designs. Pull the straps to smallest and sew down the extra strap material so it's not a hazard for bussing or walking.

depends on the thickness of the towel. however a very big backpack can be hard for a toddler to wear and they enjoy wearing it, also the bigger ones are meant for older kids and can be a chocking hazard.
I use it with a thin hooded baby bath towel and that fits but its not very roomy.

Backpacks are one of the few things I will spend a lot of money on. I get my kids the kid sized northface when they are starting real school. I went cheapie with my oldest when he was in 3 year old playgroup and it was total junk that barely lasted a school year.

I can get at least 4 years out of a bag if not more and it holds everything. Also has a great warranty which is good if your kids are hard on their items.

Thanks, I ordered it. Inexpensive, will come before Monday, and I don't need to worry about the size.
