DH wants to go on a diet.
I'd like to be as supportive as possible.

Any ideas for filling, healthy supper ideas?

Healthy fat, Protein, salad/veg
3x a day

Example:
Spinach frittata for breakfast- these can be made into muffins and frozen

Big salad with homemade Dressing for lunch
And tuna with homemade mayo

Salad with homemade dressing
Steak/Chicken/Fish/Hamburger seasoned well
Veg seasoned well and a drizzle of healthy oil

Eat enough so that he won’t need to eat in between

Drink lots of water.

How important is variety to your DH? When mine is on a diet he is very happy with same supper every night. I’m the one who gets bored.

Large salad with grilled chicken
Grilled chicken with julienne zucchini and peppers with soy sauce and honey
Falafel (I use dagim brand) and a whole wheat pita, large Israeli salad and watered down techina.
Stir fry chicken and lots of vegetables.

Salads with a protein.
Examples: chicken salad, steak meat salad, salad with salmon, spinach quinoa salad , arugula rice and feta cheese.
For the salads not as filling serve with a soup.
You can also adapt it for the kids to have supper in tacos.

Good point. Soups.
Light soups are a great filler to use to start the meal.
