For those of us who want to share.
I'll start. I do yeshiva style bookbinding with a drill press.

Household repairs! Fixed washing machine, built shelves, replaced piece in oven door.
When I asked DHd if he minds that I'm doing the "man's" work, he looked surprised. When I asked again, he shot back, "Do you mind when I do the dishes?"
LOL

I always wanted to take an auto mechanics course
At least to be able to fill changes and tune ups and not be ripped off by the garage
I had a neighbor years ago. This lady did all her own maintenance

Huge sports fan -- I know more baseball and football than the guys sitting around discussing it!

Just remember, female hobbies are just as important and respectable as male hobbies.

No one is saying one is more respectable than the other, ectomorph. Actually, since this is anon-enabled, one would think that people here are embarrassed of these "masculine" hobbies. (I'm not- but too many people know the work I've done in my house.)

Good for you! The best part is that this type of work lasts!! Clean the house and you're lucky if it lasts 5 minutes; build your pantry and you can enjoy it for years! Love it.

I'm not embarrassed of my hobbies but I don't want people to recognize me.

I love anything drill and hammer related. The tools in my house are basically all mine.

I also love photography and am quite good at it.

If you find me someone who loves laundry, I'll admire them forever. Laundry bores me to tears.

Basketball! I play basketball with my son nearly all the time. He's good but I think I'm better Cool Our non-Jewish neighbors think it's cool lol.

Daf Yomi every day. (Shout out for Rabbi Shalom Rosner’s podcasts)

Wish serious learning could be a vocation, rather than an avocation, but sadly that is not for women . . . (sigh)

I love building things. Newfound hobby. My DH can’t hang up a picture to save his life so I had to learn these stuff and I kinda enjoy it. We started with lightbulbs and now I’m putting together furniture and drilling holes in wooden crafts.

My “biggest” project-

I bought this ugly thing to hold our microwave and toaster- https://www.target.com/p/3-tie.....metab

Took off the top shelf, made and stained a wood top instead. Bought wire bookends and displayed m cookbooks there.

So now it has a county-house industrial style look.

I'm putting up curtains around the house! Bought a drill and watched da couple YouTube vids.
I'm also repainting all my bedroom furniture. Not sure if that's so non-feminine, though. I'm sanding everything down first, and replacing the hardware.

I'm super into sports, particularly baseball and football. I would say the rest of my hobbies are gender neutral. I write and I play an instrument, I'd say among my fellow writers and musicians, it's a pretty even gender split.
