I'm hoping to host a July 4th barbecue, which I've never done before. I would love to grill up some steaks, but don't want to blow a ton of money- are there any relatively cheaper cuts of meat that work well on the grill?
We really rarely eat red meat so I'm pretty much a novice in this area.
Thanks!

I had the same problem of trying to find ways to cook cheaper cuts of meat. I don't know if this will help for 4th of July grilling, but a Sous Vide is a great way to cook cheap cuts of meat to perfection! After cooking in the Sous Vide throw it on the grill for a minute or two and you are done!

Dark baby chicken is really good on the grill.

Club steak is great. I especially love club steak for kebabs. Otherwise tenderize sandwich steak with some baking soda before you do the marinating (Google for directions) and serve in baguettes or buns.

You don’t need to have steaks. Get some ground beef and make burgers, London broil, chicken wings, dark chicken cutlets, hotdogs and you are all set.
