I bought two chrome (chrome-like) dish racks for my daughter who is getting married.
Is the only thing to put under it (maybe called a drainboard??) a rubbermaid rubber thing? What else is there? - not a cloth mat - she doesn't like that.

You specifically don't want material? I don't want anything but - it gets gross, needs to be wiped down, I don't want to spill out water. The cloth ones are super absorbent and wash perfectly. I think I replaced them after 3y and that was bc we were moving.
