First stage food is just a single vegetable with water. Go to a grocery store and read any baby food jar. It’s easy to replicate at home. Simmer the vegetable in a small saucepan, drain most of the water then blend it. Put it in ice cube trays for portion control.

I posted earlier about the gerber baby food. You can find single vegetables in the stage 2s. They are totally puréed. Check for ou on each flavor. Walmart and Target should have - even online. I’ve bought butternut squash, peas, carrots, sweet potato...
