Can I ask what's not comfortable about it? Is it not soft? Do you think it may get softer with time? Or if I wash it a couple of times with fabric softener?

I saw linen sets at the Monsey store for $90-$100. You can find for the same price at a regular linen store.

I'm asking about the $25 sets, which is much cheaper than a regular linen store.

Oh I didn't see $25 sets. I can't imagine a $25 linen set would be comfortable or good quality.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....008f3

Found the exact set on amazon for $40. One review mentioned that the duvet cover is not a standard size...anyone had this experience?
Also, I see that its 55% cotton and 55% polyester..is this bad for a kids bedroom?

This is a 3 piece set, only for one bed. If it's 50% polyester it's not that soft & comfortable.

Anything not 100% cotton and not 200 thread count is cheap quality.

Stay away from polyester. It’s not breathable. 100% cotton is the only way.

Thread count should be a minimum 200 for little kids and 300 for adults.

I bought the $25 set for my son to use in yeshiva. He likes it and is definitely the type to let me know if he had a problem with it.
Actually, during corona when yeshiva was closed and he brought everything home, my 7 year old slept with this linen. He also didn’t mention that he wasn’t comfortable with it.
Personally, I wouldn’t be okay with it because I only like high quality linen but for someone who is not picky, it’s fine. It washes very well.
