How do you use this?

I'm not the one who posted this but I do it to. Pour some citric acid into the urn, fill with water and boil. I just did this on Friday. I boiled it twice with citric acid and once with just water to get rid of the remaining citric acid, then I dumped it filled it with water for shabbos. Looks like new and also makes the water taste better.

Rub baking soda on meat before starting to work with it, leave it on for about ten minutes and then wash thoroughly. The meat is softer than ever.

I never heard of this! Does it change the flavor of the meat?
Would it work on tough Israeli meat?
Just rub it on, and wash off after 10 minutes? Sounds so simple!

I do this too but with sour salt. Pour the spice bottle into the urn filled with boiling water and let it boil up again. Let it sit and then rinse with soMe soap to take the salty taste out of it. Turns the inside sparkling again.

lavendar oil helps with bruising/burns that it shouldnt turn blue or relieve pain, no swelling up etc

I used to use the oil too until I discovered arnicare. Doesn’t leave messy oil residue around and works even better.

If you ever run out of silver polish, you can use toothpaste. I use it sometimes to polish the pesach silver. It does a good job.

Another toothpaste hack. It’s great for cleaning glass! Glass drinking cups, and those little glass cups I use on top of shabbos candlesticks to hold the candles. Makes them so clear!

Didnt read whoke thread tho its awesome..

So, if you need to get tape off hair, or a bandaid off a hairy arm, baby oil! Magic!

Also, clogged bathroom drain? Dont call plumber! Box of baking powder down the drain followed by a bottle of vinegar. Chemical reaction cleans MOST clogged drains. I do it as sonn as the water starts slowing down as it goes down. Viola!
