I’m on unemployment. I received a notice for an appointment to the career center to help with job searching. Anyone who has gone before, what was it like and should I do anything to prepare? I’m in Brooklyn.

They mostly give you a list of resources and places to look for jobs.

I did it a couple of years ago. It's pretty straightforward. They want to know if you have a resume or if you need their assistance. Asking if you're sending out your resume 2x a week and what people are saying. Very routine and then you go home. They just check in.
