I have a one week old baby and I have a blister in corner of my mouth which I believe is a cold sore. I totally kissed my baby up today before I noticed it. Other than not kissing and constantly washing hands can I do anything. I’m very nervous.

Very typical to get after a baby
Comes from stress or irritation...
Newborns are immune to a lot of stuff for six weeks at least, so I wouldn't worry much about it.
Just keep an eye out..

I wouldn't rely on the baby being immune and rather recommend asking a doctor. Some time back there were these cases of baby boys getting infected with herpes virus during their brit by the mohel. And some got seriously ill, I think. If they were immune, how could that happened?

Just checked the topic -
here are two medical sources from the UK.
They say that young babies can get infected and that sometimes it can be dangerous for them.

It absolutely can be dangerous for a newborn. Please mention it to your doctor.

A blister or crack in the very corner of your mouth *might* be a vitamin b deficiancy. Unless you get cold sores occasionally, could this not be a cold sore?
