Need something different for chicken

We are getting so bored of our usual chicken, which we spice with Montreal steak spice. We have been using the bbq often so that gives it a good flavor but looking for ideas for sauce. We like franks buffalo sauce. There were a few good VH sauces such as the spicy chili sauce but they no longer have a hechsher. Here is our criteria:
-not bbq sauce
-duck sauce or teriyaki sauce isn't available where we live
-no heimishe brand sauces or anything our stores don't carry the kosher brands

does it have to be a store bought sauce, or is something homemade with basic ingrsdients okay?

Season chicken with salt, black pepper, thyme and coriander. Add lots of onions and a handful of garlic. Pour a mixture of apricot jelly and soy sauce over the chicken.

Thanks for all the replies. Could be something store bought or something easy to make with simple ingredients. We usually put the chicken in the oven, but with summer have been grilling alot so could be for either type of cooking.

make this all the time--cinnamon, tumeric, olive oil, honey, salt--bake 350, 45 min covered, 45 min uncovered.

Does ti have to be a sweet sauce?

If not, what about homemade tandoori sauce (using coconut milk instead of the traditional yogurt)?

Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder black pepper and paprika. Garlic cloves (don't have to peel them) sprinkled around the chicken and the pan. Drizzle balsamic vinegar on the chicken pieces. Bake uncovered at 375° for an hour and a half. Usually a little less than that.

Do you get apricot jelly and soy sauce? If you can get both of these, you can make your own duck sauce and teriyaki sauce.

Smear tomato paste on top of chicken cutlets. Place sliced purple onions, sliced olives, and cut up tomatoes. Salt+pepper+basil to taste. Bake.

marinate (for even half an hour)in a mixture of honey and mustard
if you don't want sweet - make your own italian type dressing - mix (olive) oil, vinegar, lots of garlic, basil, and some salt and pepper - to use as a marinade

A generous scoop of mayo, a couple of garlic cubes, a dash of soy sauce and black pepper to taste. Marinate chicken and grill/fry/bake!
Italian dressing is also a good marinade.

Salt and Pepper
Cover in honey, put slice pineapple on top.
Bake covered for 2-3 hours.

Mix Ketchup and apricut jam. Pour over chicken with sesame seeds

Any salad dressing makes a great marinade
Always salt and pepper chicken first
Marinate for as long as possible for best taste
Different dressings = different flavors

Honey or maple (I prefer maple) syrup and dijon mustard. 1 part mustard 2 part syrup/honey. Salt and pepper to taste. Marinate over night if you can. Extra yum to add caramalized onions and caramelized pan before putting it in the oven- but not required. Real crowd pleaser in my family!

I was told by a rabbi of a kashrus agency that Garlic cloves should be peeled and the ends at both sides cut off due to possible infestation.
