That's awesome and I'm really glad for your family. But saying that those who need "fancier" are either rich or should stay home isn't nice. It's not a matter of needing fancier, but if having different idea of how to spend shabbos - in a dining room vs a hotel room, with zemiros and all, places for kids to hang out, shiurim, separate swimming, hot food that's more than wraps, and not having to worry to buy food 2 h before shabbos for half price and worry what, if any, will be left. To each their own, and there are pluses and minuses to each way

just wondering if anyone went to this shabbos getaway every week prices keep going up why if its the same hotel caterer and staff

Yes, I noticed that the same program has a different price in the ad now...
But it says food catered by glatt gourmet- that’s a pretty good take out store in Lakewood
