I just moved to the area and also just had a baby and my new family size makes me eligible for wic. I see that stop and shop on burnside takes it but I keep Cholev Yisroel. Do any Jewish stores take it. Also is it still checks or is it paperless?

I don’t have it so I can’t tell you if it’s checks or not but I see plenty of people buying through WIC in frankels supermarket in Far Rockaway

If you see people buying through wic, how do you know they are paying with wic, are they swiping a card or handing the cashier a check?

Wic works with checks not a card. Don’t know anything about which stores take it as I’m not from that area

I'm almost positive that Frankel's and any other kosher store in the area takes WIC. If you want to be 100% positive call them and ask.

I just hear the cashier ask them if it’s wic and then I switch to another line
