I didn’t know that closing from the back is an undiscovered talent I have. Wink

Close the bra straps in front, spin it around to the back and put your arms through the straps.
Then, lean forward like you are bowing down, and with your hands, shake your bust from the sides to make them go into the cups nicely.
This gives the best shape, according to the fitter in the lingerie store.

Shuly's description sounds right.
Quote:
After I went to a fitting at Orchard Corset, the woman told me it was obvious I was closing the clasps in the front based on how I look.
I don't see how that can be true.
Makes no sense at all to me. If anyone can explain?

I always put chicken on the bone face down in the pan so it can cook in the juices and sauces and absorb the flavor more. My mother taught me this.

When dicing or cutting peppers into strips, slice with the skin side up. I can't believe how many years I sliced with the skin side down, it takes much longer!!

I also cook whole chicken/turkey "upside down " the breast is a little squished looking but it is soooo delicious.
Turn it back up for the last 15 minutes to brown the skin

That I can't do everything. I was a real workaholic in my single days (still am, but now its family first) and when I got married I thought I can do everything singlehandedly. And be pregnant. Until I realized I can't and took cleaning help for myself. I only wished I realized this earlier.

The bumps on a bobby pin go on the bottom!

They do? why?

Took me many years to learn that the bumps on the edge of the potato peeler is to remove the indented bad spots.

When I first started driving, I couldn't figure out how you knew what gear you were in. Took me a while to notice the indicator telling me which gear I was in!
