We are letting go of a nanny we've had for a couple of years. We told her many months ago as soon as we knew when we would need to stop. We offered to help her find a new job but she's going back to school. I don't feel I owe her 'severance' but I definitely want to show appreciation. Would love to know what other people have given. We live in NJ.
