My son just called from camp with a terrible toothache  . Does anyone know of a dentist upstate who takes United Healthcare Community Plan? If you don't know what insurance they take, please mention the dentist's name anyway and I'll give them a call. Any help is tremendously appreciated!

Your sons camp should know about dentists who accept the insurance that presumably a large percentage of their campers are on. Check with them.

He's in a yeshiva camp - they're older boys so they're more on their own.

Dr Perri Malek is upstate, in Monticello. I dont think she takes insurance upstate, but she's really reasonable. $100 for exam & xrays, and part of it is deducted if further treatment is needed. he can at least go on antibiotics if he has an infection.
She is here on Friday, Sundy and monday. She literally saved me; I came up here in tremendous pain and saw her twice. She prescribed abx..
