My Ami subscription ended and renewal didn't kick in for a few weeks... I last read when Yitzie was being held captive and the captors wanted 2 million for ransom, or something like that, and now all of a sudden Srul is dead?! What happened?
I got this past week's --- Naomi went to Kotel and Gershie fainted...
Can anyone fill me in? Who were the captors? How did Yitzie get free? What happened to Srul?

The grandfather was shot during the ransom dropoff. The family is sitting shiva in yerushalayim. Yitzie is alive, shellshocked and contemplating a return to kollel

Gershie and his sister were arguing about emunah, she gave him a whole speech.
Moshe and his wife were discussing what to do with the money. He said he did not want to see it dince it was tainted so just give it away, she wanted to do some good with it like open a kollel or have a sefer tora written.

The kidnappers were getting ready to run off with the money and with Yitzy together. At the last second the grandfather Srul yelled that the money is fake. His trick worked and they turned around and came back. Srul said what did you think, we will give you the real money before we have Yitzy back. Srul started negotiating with them to give Yitzy back to get the real money. They released Yitzy but held the gun to him. Srul jumped in in-between the gun and Yitzy and got himself shot. At that same time the police that were hiding emerged, shot and arrested the kidnappers and got the money back for Moish.
