I don't know and I'm curious as well but reading through the threads today I see that there was some bullying on more than one thread.

And I agree; it may not be a Jewish issue but getting in touch with Chabad or Rabbi Bleich can help you find better living accommodations. Even if Rabbi Bleich is in NY now (which I don't know that he is), he has people he can call. (I spent a little time in Kiev- that's why I specifically mentioned those above.)

sequoia, buy a full cooler of water to keep in your room, and if she accuses you, just say oh you don't have enough water - I have plenty, take this cooler! Just keep being nice until she feels stupid for acting this way.
