Were looking for things of general interest to people our age.

Antiques?

Comedies?

Money Investing Seminars?

Marriage Improvement Seminars?

I don't really understand why your age is relevant. All the things you mention exist in NY, plus lots of other things. There are seminars, plays, and museums, shopping, walking tours, and various sports. People of all ages do all of the above.

Or are you looking for activities specifically for people in their 60s?

I think you are a little late in the game now to start investing in your marriage or with your money now

Age is relevant. She won't be going on a cyclone that turns over 3 times now.

I strongly disagree. It's never too late to invest in your marriage. A 60 year old couple might have another 20-30 years of marriage ahead of them. I hope I'm still investing in my relationship with my husband when I'm 60. Same goes for money. Is it really ever to late to make smart financial decisions? The particulars will of course be different than for a couple in their 20's or 30's.

OP, you might like NYC EFT weekends. They look amazing! I'm dying to do it with my husband!

Wow... that’s very closed minded
What’s wrong with making a marriage better with the person you plan on living with for the next 30 years if not more??

I personally don’t understand anything about investing. Perhaps because I don’t have much to invest at this time. If a couple has money and would like to understand their investment options, why is it too late?

Gosh! You make it sound like 60 is a death bed! It’s just another stage of life. May we all get there and much farther !

So true.
Also- who said she’s only starting now?
And if she is- she’s my inspiration.
Life is fluid.
I have dreams for me at sixty too.
May we all have the excitement for life at sixty as we do now.

Bryant park has movies Monday nights. You can look up their website. There are also concerts in various parks (Central Park, Prospect Park). Central Park is nice in general - row boating, biking, walking around, shows. Bryant Park has live vignettes from Broadway shows on Thursdays during lunch in the summer. The Metropolitan museum is gorgeous. I don't know if they're offered in the summer, but I think the kosher culinary center offers cooking classes for couples. Walking/biking/boating Prospect Park. 92nd street Y lectures.
