My daughter went on inflatable water rides that were set up in a sandy area. She came home with a bag full of sandy, wet clothes and I don’t know what to do with it. Will it just come out from a regular wash cycle? Any advice please?

Let it first dry under the sun. Then shake out the sand before you wash it.

Thanks. Now why didn’t I think of this?
I recall vaguely reading in the thread about real life hacks some trick to remove sand....Can’t remember.

You can't work with wet sand. Also a tip to get rid of the pesky stuff is vacumming once it's dry. My house was full of it for days till I thought of it.

Thanks. Good idea. Waiting for said dress to dry and will vacuum. It’s literally caked in sand. Every cm of it.

DO you have a faucet outside?
I rinse out the sandy clothing well with my hose and then wring it out. Carry in a shopping bag until the wash machine...

I did this, shook it all out and bh all the sand vanished.
