Im a crafty, handy, middle aged, relatively quick learner, polished "people person" with no college degree, and I want flexibility.

How do I find Temp jobs, if theyre not in the current newspapers?

I prefer to stay in or near BP, but at the minimum, a frum or frum-friendly environment.

TIA

There's a temp agency in Williamsburg and they have positions all over.

Any legitimate employment agency (temp or permanent) does not have the worker pay a fee.

For temp employees, there is a markup so that the employer pays $25 per hour to the agency and the agency then pays the temp employee a percentage of that - let's say $17. There is generally an agreement with the employer and the agency to prevent the employer from circumventing the temp agency and employing directly to save money but that can be negotiated as often people want to hire temp employees on a long term basis.

I know someone who put an ad in the papers and got jobs that way. She now works full-time. If your target audience is BP then I suggest the Link for starters. You never know who is going on maternity leave.

Example: Capable energetic woman with computer skills seeking temporary or per diem employment...

How in the world would being energetic be applicable to an office job?
