Can anyone please tell me a little about this camp? I have a daughter going into fifth grade. I actually spoke to someone recently who has a boy who goes to Acheinu, she told me that it's a pretty sports based camp that is more tailored for boys than for girls. Is this true? What do the girls do that go to this camp? Thanks so much for your responses!

I worked there for 5 summers as one of the "married morahs". The camp is fine. Its not great. The kids have fun, but its in a tiny, decrepit building. It may have changed in the time its been since I worked there (I left Queens 5 years ago), but by 5th grade, there were far fewer girls in camp. Its just not as fun for them at that age.

One or 2 years ago they moved the girls into a separate building, I believe it's in the bnos malka building. Op where does your dd go to school? Where are her friends going?

I worked there as an assistant for the four year olds years ago. Head Morah was amazing. Great experience
