Are Catskills summer homes (ranging from fancy larger bungalows to homes that look like homes in the city) a good investment?
Do people make money when selling, or do they take a loss, because theres always new ones being built?
Are certain colonies' prices going up, and others not, so its an individual thing?
Are there any summer homes with Agudah type people, or a nice mix of backgrounds, where you profit when selling?

To be honest, it's not the greatest investment. Prices have been quite stable the last few years due to the large amount of building new developments.

The straight answer is probably no.
I'm sure there are pockets of places or homes that may pay off, but probably not enough to tie up money.

It isn’t an investment at all.
Prices don’t go up much.
And if people are happy with their place, they don’t sell.
The ones who sell are usually unhappy with it and it’s hard to sell.
